State of Utah Professional License for Landscaping Contractors

The State of Utah requires all landscape contractors to be licensed with the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.

This helps to protect and provide communities with reputable and qualified contractors who are less likely to provide poor quality, no results, or unacceptable results. It also protects communities against the unscrupulous scam artist who signs a contract, takes your money, and then disappears. Contractors must also carry general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance to protect you, the homeowner, and cover employee medical care costs in the event of an accident.

At LaytonScape we fully comply with city, county, and state regulations. We are licensed, carry general liability insurance and worker’s compensation, and withhold all required payroll taxes and unemployment taxes.
